3D Secure 2.0

3D Secure 2.0 is a fraud protection measure used by credit card providers all over the world. It does this by adding an extra layer of security to help ensure the person shopping is the correct card holder.

It also goes by the names Verified by Visa or Visa Secure for Visa cards, SecureCode or ID Check for MasterCard cards and J/Secure for JCB cards.

Depending on your credit card provider, they may use an OTP (one time password) system as part of their 3D Secure 2.0 set up.

At Mandarake we only accept credit cards that have this security feature activated.

Not all credit cards have 3D Secure 2.0 activated by default, so please contact your card provider to get it set up.

3D Secure 2.0 on Mandarake

After you have placed an order on Mandarake and are ready to pay, you will be taken to the credit card payment screen. Confirm the payment amount, fill your credit card details and click Pay.

You are then taken to your card provider's 3D Secure 2.0 authorisation page. This will be different depending on your card provider. As this page is part of your card provider's system, Mandarake cannot see what you are entering on this page nor can we advise you on how to proceed.
Here are some examples of how it may look.

Once you have completed the steps required by your card provider to confirm your identity and they have authorised the transaction, you will be taken back to the Mandarake website showing that your payment has been confirmed.

If at any stage you are returned to the payment details page, it means that the transaction has been rejected by your card provider. Please contact them for more details.
