Shipping Options

DHL Express offers fast delivery to many countries across the world.

DHL Express does not have limits on box sizes and weights (though it does need to be able to fit through the doors of a plane).
DHL fees are determined primarily by package size, followed by weight. Therefore if you are ordering a small but heavy item, DHL could be the cheapest shipping option for you.

Example 1
If an order to Korea fits a size-1 box (our smallest box) but when packed weighs 3kg, it will cost 2,410 yen.
This takes into account that while the item may fit into a size-1 box since the weight is 3kg, the minimum you would have to pay is 2,410 yen.

Example 2
If an order to Korea can only fit into a size-2 box (our largest box) but when packed only weighs 3kg, it will still cost 13,370 yen.
This takes into account that it needs a physically larger box. Since prices are determined by max weight no matter the actual item weight it will still cost 13,370 yen to ship.



Please be aware that DHL Express does not pick up items on Saturdays, Sundays or Japanese national holidays. Therefore if you pay for an item on Friday it might not be collected for a few days.

Due to its high speed, reliability and wide availability, EMS is a highly recommended shipping option. Though it is more expensive than Airmail, your items have a higher priority when shipping so will reach you much faster.

Though EMS is available in most countries, there are certain areas not covered. You can check if your area can receive EMS deliveries on the Japan Post website here:
"Express Mail Service(EMS) - List of Countries and Areas".

EMS packages have a much higher weight and size limit than Small package. Though it varies from country to country, the maximum weight limit is usually 20-30kg so you can often fit all of your order into a single box.
The maximum box size is often 300cm. This size limit is for the longest length ('a' in the image below) plus the remaining circumference ('b' to 'e' in the image below). The longest dimension often has a maximum length of 150cm, though like the maximum size limit this varies from country to country.

Air PP packages have a weight and size limit, which includes the packing and not just the item. The maximum weight and dimensions vary depending on the country.

Shipping Time: Usually within two to three weeks depending on destination (may be longer if subject to customs inspection)

Small packets (items up to 2kg) shipped via airmail. Tracking is not available with Mandarake's order, and items are delivered directly to the recipient's mailbox.

UPS offers fast delivery to the United States.
Mandarake’s UPS shipping option is only available for Nakano orders and select areas within the U.S.
If you enter your U.S. shipping address and ZIP code at checkout and the UPS option does not appear, your address is outside the areas covered by our UPS partnership, even if UPS normally delivers there. In such cases, this shipping option cannot be used.

UPS fees are based primarily on package size, and secondarily on weight.

Example 1
If an order fits into a size-1 box (our smallest box) but weighs 3kg, the cost is 2,410 yen.
This is because, while the item fits in a size-1 box, the minimum fee for 3kg is 2,410 yen.

Example 2
If an order requires a size-2 box (our largest box) but weighs only 3kg, the cost is still 13,370 yen.
This is because pricing is determined by the maximum weight allowed for the required box size, regardless of the actual weight.

After your order has shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number. You can track your package on the UPS website.
For faster customs clearance and delivery, we recommend registering with the UPS app in the United States.
